El ciclón material sufrió una abrasión grave y un impacto cuando separó la partícula material, como carbón, oro, hierro y ext. debido al transporte de material a alta velocidad. Es muy fácil desgastarse y filtrar el material del ciclón y es muy necesaria una solución adecuada de protección contra el desgaste para el ciclón de material.
ULTRAMING usó los revestimientos cerámicos revestidos en la pared interior del ciclón para obtener las protecciones contra el desgaste y los impactos. Ha resultado ser una muy buena solución de desgaste para ciclones de materiales.
